菜鳥篇〈probie, newbie, rookie〉
最近和維特和小貓講到NCIS早期的翻譯有誤，有看NCIS的看倌就知道，Gibbs小組裡，McGee往往是扮演那個被欺負的菜鳥，因為他加入的比較晚，Ziva不算，因為基本上她本來是以色列情報組織派來的聯絡官，但是第七季Ziva想入美國籍正式加入NCIS之後，咱們的資深探員Tony當然也老實不客氣的喊她「菜鳥」啦！這可是得到Gibbs認可的呢！因為Gibbs當初帶他入行的師父至今見面仍然喊他一聲「菜鳥」啊！
NCIS裡面用到的菜鳥這個英文字是-----Probie
根據美國俚語字典的解釋，就是工作上的新手

但是我在其他影集裡也聽過有人喊菜鳥「newbie」，所以我又查了俚語字典

看來newbie真的是指新手，不過好像不一定是很笨拙的，所以probie 比 newbie 感覺更菜囉~
此外我最近追看的夏日影集，也有個跟菜鳥有關的字-------Rookie
於是乎我當然又查了俚語字典
A Beginner. A starter. Somebody that just doing or trying something for the first time

仔細看發現rookie這個字好像有特別指年紀輕的新手的意思，難怪Rookie Blue這個影集就是在講警校剛畢業或是剛受訓完的菜鳥警察啦~

這影集讓我想到最近火紅的「新兵日記」，或是當年捧出很多大明星的港劇「新紮師兄」，基本上大家或多或少都當過菜鳥，但也會隨著時間的推移逐漸變成老鳥，所以這種老鳥菜鳥的對比大概永遠都會是熱門的戲劇元素吧~
其實我覺得菜鳥有菜鳥的活力和衝勁，當然免不了會犯很多錯，但是誰不是從錯誤裡學習過來的。而老鳥有老鳥的經驗和能耐，但也免不了會變得比較世故和油條。我也曾經是被老鳥說「這些事我以前年輕時通通都做過」和大潑冷水+被罵被念的菜鳥，而現在當然已經是青春不再，卻有了點歷練可以避免無謂錯誤卻也沒力氣亂衝亂撞的老鳥啦~
不記得上次在哪兒看過，有人曾分析NCIS會成功的原因，就是每個年齡層都可以從Gibbs小組裡的每個成員身上，找到自己的影子，這種同理心的投射大概就是收視率的保證啦~
